Weight Loss – Now That Explains It!

November 8th, 2008

This morning I notice I’d lost 3 pound in the last week. Then I noticed that I was having trouble eating because I was just not hungry.

What gives?

Tonight i read that a good fish oil can reduce appetite.

Aha!

I’ve been taking 8 of the Moxxor capsules a day for  the last week.  My energy has been great.  My mood has been great.  My body’s been feeling like it’s humming along like a finely tuned engine.

Ok.  The “finely tuned engine” part is a minor exageration.  Whenever the weather turns cold and dry – as it does a lot up here in the winter – my sinuses freak out.  But the “freak out” that my sinuses have been doing is not nearly as bad as I remember it being last winter.

Anyway, the truth is, I don’t really need to lose any more weight.

Winter has arrived with a vengence up here in the high Colorado Rockies in the last week.  It’s getting friggin cold out there!  I could use all the fat I can get to keep warm.

As it it, right now I weight exactly 3 pound more than I did in college.  That means I look like the same tall, skinny nerdy dude I was in college, except now my hair has gone prematurely gray – white actually.

The one problem with having this low appetite is that I’ve woken up in the middle of the night absolutely famished.  In order to get back to sleep, I eat half a banana, which staves off the hunger until morning.

However, I’m going to cut back on the Moxxor at this point.  I was taking 8 a day.  Maybe there is a reason they suggest 2 a day?

Otherwise, I’ll just blow away in the next strong wind (and we have LOTS of strong winds up here on the mountain top), come Christmas.

That won’t do – who’d write the blog?
